Sea Kayaking Tours

Highlights

Sea kayaking programs are implemented as a marine tourist tour to the most beautiful parts of the coastline of Mani. At the same time, they are an introduction to the activity of Sea Kayaking, combining sport and entertainment.

No previous experience is required for your participation in the sea kayaking programs.

Basic swimming ability (without aids) is required for all participants.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The experience of a sea kayak trip is unforgettable, and no prior experience is needed. With a short introductory lesson, we get to know our boat and equipment, learn about paddling techniques, safety parameters and we are ready to go exploring.

Activities

Gerolimenas – Cavo Grosso – Gialia – Almiros

Starting our trip exploring the picturesque small coastal village of Gerolimenas (which means Old Harbour) we paddle South along rocky gardens made out of stiff cliffs, pirates caves and hidden beaches. During this trip we will have enough time to rest, snorkel, sunbathing and enjoy our fruit snacks while visiting fishing villages with great beaches such as Gialia, and Almiros, before we start heading back north.

PORTO CAGIO – ANDROGYALOS

We start our route from Porto Kayo - a fishing village that was the base of the pirate fleet of Lambros Katsonis, where we will have enough time to explore its picturesque cove. Then, we set our sail either to the north, for the beach of Androgyalos, or to the south for Vathy Avlaki, two hidden and beautiful beaches. We will swim in beautiful coves with crystal clear waters enjoying the sun and the sea and after a short lunch with local snacks we will make our way back.

LIMENI – DIROS

Departing from our base, Limeni, one of the most famous villages, we exit the Oitylo Bay and we head south to the next bay, which is Diros. A must visit destination, known for the historical caves of Diros. A large underground network of caves full of strangely shaped rock formations. there you could even take the 20 min boat ride into the caves. (kayaks are not permitted). During our paddling we have the chance to admire the Cave Apidima Cave Apidima of which researches revealed findings of great importance for the prehistoric times in Peloponnese and the Paleoanthropology.

KARAVOSTASI – NEO OITYLO- LIMENI

Departing from our base at Limeni, we offer you the best sunset tour, that will last for approximately 2 hours, exploring Oitilo bay. The magic colours of the sunset will give another dimension of how you view those stone built fishing villages and you will admire the calmness and the peace of the coastline. A tour that is meant for all levels of experiences keeping a pace that will be comfortable for all. An experience for peace of mind that you will definitely bring into your mind plenty of times. Our certified guide will brief you on kayak techniques at our base, hand you the equipment and you will only keep your mind on following the sunset lines into the deep blue sea.
