Highlights

Olympus - the mountain of the gods -, the highest and most alpine mountain of Greece, is known around the world through mythology. Its imposing snow-capped peaks, the divine aura it emits as well as its special terrain make up a very interesting mountaineering, climbing and skiing ground.

The intense diversity of its terrain, the different orientation of the slopes, the rock, the great height and the short distance of the peaks from the sea, create a wide variety of types of vegetation and habitats.

For our accommodation we choose mountain shelters and small traditional guesthouses. We know, firsthand, that the atmosphere of mountain lodges, the fire in the fireplace, good food and warm company create the ideal conditions for sharing new knowledge and skiing stories after the workout.

The ultimate escape

Alpine skiing, after proper familiarization with the winter environment, can be carried out in areas with sufficient snow cover and for periods of time much longer than the operation of organized ski resorts centers and is a means to escape from large urban centers, not only during the winter season. It's a more complete activity than a day of skiing at a ski resort without having to wait in lift lines. Also, ski mountaineering can take the form of traversing (from one specific point - eg a mountain village - to another), or the form of an ascent and imminent descent.
